An Educational Opportunity for Metro Detroit Area MSAE Members
The Ralph A. MacMullan Scholarship program was initiated by Mr. Ralph A. MacMullan to provide qualified individuals with an opportunity to enhance their academic and professional training in association management.
The scholarship is available for the INSTITUTE for Organization Management or another education program that advances the professional development for this recipient. There are no restrictions on race, creed, gender, or financial status of any applicant.
To be considered, applicants must:
- be employed by an association or not-for-profit organization located in the eight-county Metro area of Detroit; and
- complete the application process; and
- be a member of MSAE; and
- have at least two years experience in the association or not-for-profit sector.
The check will be made payable to the applicant and program sponsor as joint payees. It is understood that the applicant and/or their employer will be responsible for all other expenses.
The scholarship is open to any MSAE member but may only be received once by an individual. Consideration will be given only to Metro Detroit members (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Livingston counties.)
Interested individuals will be required to complete a questionnaire, submit it to their employer for endorsement, and return it to the MSAE office. Supplementary letters and other endorsements are not necessary, but will be considered if submitted with the application.
