| About the Session |
|
Cloud computing is somewhat of a mystery to most people, including many association executives and key decision makers. You may have heard the buzzwords, but do you really understand what “The Cloud” is all about? Have you ever found yourself asking questions such as 'How can “The Cloud” possibly relate to my organization?' 'What can I do with it?' and 'How much does it cost/will it really save me money?'
This session will provide you with the answers to your questions and more. Beyond a basic understanding of cloud computing you will learn how it relates to small and mid-sized organizations; the pros, the cons and the implications of moving your organization to a cloud-based environment; and an idea of what the landscape of business technology looks like now through the next three years. You will discover the information you need to make the decision of whether or not it is time to take a leap into “The Cloud”.
This session is part of a Technology of the Month Series. Each session, or TechByte, is an exploration of technologies and concepts currently available to you. Every TechByte is it's own neat package of useful information. Register to attend one, two, or the full series – however many you attend, you will leave knowing more than when you came. This is your chance to seize an opportunity to gain more knowledge to improve efficiency and productivity in your position within your organization. View the full series here.
