MSAE's Emerging Professionals
|
 |
|

| Who we are... |
| MSAE's Emerging Professionals Committee was created to help connect individuals new to the association industry by offering a platform to share resources and experiences, fostering professional relationships and providing professional development. |
| What we do... |
| The Emerging Professionals Committee works to incorporate a variety of educational opportunities for new professionals in the association industry, including (but not limited to) local conference and meeting schedules, webinars and resources aimed squarely at young Michigan association employees and those new to the industry. EPs also strive to cultivate lasting relationships both within and outside of the group through various social engagements and a mentoring program. |
| So what? |
| Encourage staff and colleagues who are new to the association industry within the past 5 years or who are 35 years old or younger to participate with the MSAE EPs through networking events, education offerings (including the popular Brown Bag Lunches), and the sharing of best practices and resources. |
| Bonus! |
| By encouraging your own EPs to become an active participant in the MSAE's EP offerings, you will be opening up an avenue for them to more productive and engaged employees while nurturing their growth as valuable future association leaders. |
| What else can being part of the MSAE Emerging Professionals do for me? |
• Expands your network of colleagues
• Provides you access to resources to gain knowledge of the association industry
• Strengthens and develops your professional development through participation in educational programming
• Gives you an opportunity to volunteer within the specific areas of the industry you are most passionate about |
| How do you get involved? |
| Contact the MSAE Office at 517.332.6723 or info@msae.org to have your name added to the EP list so you can start receiving communication about EP offerings. |
