American Associations Day
March 23-24-2010
Washington, D.C.

What Is American Associations Day?
American Associations Day is the day dedicated to all associations and their interests. It is the opportunity for association executives from across the country to gather and learn about pressing legislative issues, network with fellow executives, and meet their members of Congress to educate them on important issues for all associations.

Who Participates?
Participation is open to association employees and leadership. The program is particularly useful for CEOs, those new to an association or government relations, or anyone who wants to learn more about associations and advocacy.

What is the Travel Scholarship?
A limited number of travel scholarships are available to applicants who want to receive reimbursement after the event for travel costs to the event. ASAE, through the Associations Advance America (AAA) fund, can reimburse up to $300 for travel costs.

Where Does American Associations Day Take Place?
American Associations Day takes place in our beautiful nation’s capital, Washington, DC.

What is the American Associations Day Program?
The first day is an afternoon of learning about the best advocacy practices, followed by an evening reception with a view of Washington, DC, and hosted by the ASAE Board. The following day is comprised of visiting your members of Congress.

Contact Cheryl Ronk, CAE, CMP if you would like to join the Michigan group of participants in AA Day.
