Government Relations
Both state and federal issues that impact the not-for-profit community, or the association sector in particular, are evaluated, monitored, and acted upon by MSAE and its members. MSAE's Legislative Committee works proactively on issues. For example, the passage of state board, officer and voluteer protection legislation that was spearheaded by MSAE.

Legislative Committee
Monitor legislative or regulatory activity that impacts associations and not-for-profit organizations and make recommendations to the Board on positions and activities needed. Inform members on legislative issues of general importance to the association sector, administration actions, rulings and court decisions affecting the industry profession.

Legislative Conference
MSAE's Legislative Conference is held annually in Lansing in early February.
