Professional Bio
Amber Sheerin (she/her) is the Program and Event Director for the Michigan Library Association. She began her career in meetings and events working on the supplier side as a hotel sales manager, and is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College, Ferris State University, and has a Certificate in Event and Convention Management from New York University. In addition to being a CMP, Amber is a certified Digital Event Strategist (DES) and is certified in Virtual Event and Meeting Management (VEMM) from the Event Leadership Institute. Amber was named the 2023 Innovative Planner of the Year by MPI – Michigan Chapter.
