MSAE is pleased to unveil a new tool for members! In partnership with the Association Societies Alliance (ASA) and Dynamic Benchmarking, LLC, MSAE is offering access to an online, real-time compensation survey and benchmarking platform for executives of professional, trade, and service-centric associations and nonprofits. The new data gathering and reporting platform is the next evolution of MSAE's Compensation & Benefits Survey.
To encourage participation in and demonstrate the value of this new service, MSAE is providing participating members with free access to all data and reports throughout 2020. Here's how it works:
1) Sign-up to participate at this link: https://benchmarking.associationalliance.org/signupform.aspx
(For SAE Affiliation, choose Michigan Society of Association Executives!)
2) Complete the survey with your association's data. NOTE: In order to access reports, all required questions must be answered and a minimum of 50% of the survey questions must be completed.
3) Return to the site (https://benchmarking.associationalliance.org/) any time to run customizable benchmarking reports. (Bonus: Reports are downloadable in a variety of formats, including PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word!)
Participation in the survey itself will always be free. After 2020, access to the real-time data will be available 365/24/7 with a competitively-priced annual subscription of $149 for participating members. Nonmembers will pay $249 and nonparticipants will pay $299.
Ensuring a knowledgeable, professional and successful community is MSAE’s mission and core to our long-term success. Because we are a member-first organization, MSAE has continuously pushed the envelope and experimented with the best means to deliver a unique and enriching experience to all of our members and partners.
But in this current era of rapid technological, social and economic change, how we serve our members had to shift to reflect the new realities of our society. After conducting a comprehensive analysis of our organizational structure, program offerings and overall operations, the MSAE Board has approved a “New MSAE”.
With MSAE’s new organizational membership model, our membership has more than doubled to over 1,700 members. No longer are we an association just for the Chief Staff Executive…we’re here to serve the entire association staff. During the past year, we’ve created many new programs, webinars, peer-to-peer community of practice groups, and resources to address the needs of all staff levels.
MSAE's Board of Directors took decisive action this week in support of the restoration of funding for the Pure Michigan campaign. MSAE is proud to stand by many of our organizational and allied members urging state leaders to get Pure Michigan back on track before too much momentum is lost. Michigan's tourism lobby has done fantastic work in getting the message out about Pure Michigan's significance to the state's economy. If supporting this effort makes sense for your organization, they would certainly welcome additional voices to the cause...
