Rachelle Grockau is pleased to announce that she is the new sales manager at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.  She comes from the West Bay Beach, A Holiday Inn Resort in Traverse City.

POSTAL RATES TO STAY THE SAME, MIGHT EVEN DROP

The United States Postal Service’s (USPS) leadership has publicly committed to having no general price increases for letter and flat mail in 2016. An overall price decrease for such mailings is possible for later in the year.

Winslow named President and CEO of the Michigan Restaurant Association and Maner Costerisan Named a Top 300 Accounting Firm

Justin Winslow has been named president and CEO of the Michigan Restaurant Association. Justin has served as the association's vice president of government relations since 2011. He was also named as one of MSAE's Rising Leaders Top 15 in '15 Recognition Program! Lansing-based Maner Costerisan has been named a Top 300 accounting firm in the nation by INSIDE Public Accounting, a publication of The Platt Group.

Lenzen, nominated to the Convention Sales Professional International 2016 Board of Directors and  Boardway Named Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Michigan Restaurant Association

Kent Lenzen, CMP, CTA, director of sales at the Lansing Center, was nominated to the Convention Sales Professional International (CSPI) 2016 Board of Directors. The CSPI is the only industry organization dedicated to fostering collaborative sales partnerships between convention sales professionals and their counterparts at convention centers and city and regional Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO's).

With MSAE’s new organizational membership model, our membership has more than doubled to over 1,700 members.  No longer are we an association just for the Chief Staff Executive…we’re here to serve the entire association staff.  During the past year, we’ve created many new programs, webinars, peer-to-peer community of practice groups, and resources to address the needs of all staff levels.
