DM: I live in Haslett with my husband Sean, our precocious 7-year-old son Connor, and our sweet red lab puppy Harlan.
DM: Time with family and friends is my most cherished time. We enjoy exploring and relaxing in Northern Michigan. I love music and am
recharged by live concerts.
DM: My first MSAE event was the Public Policy Roundtable in 2011. I was new to the association world and immediately met new contacts who exposed me to other elements of association management outside my job responsibilities. I became a regular attendee of the MSAE Annual Conference (formerly OrgPro) and continued to grow my connections and friendships through this vital network of association professionals and partners.
DM: I believe in the power of what associations do for our world and want to make sure that we have a thriving network for connection, best practice sharing, and lifelong education.
DM: Active participation in MSAE has allowed me to meet some of my most valued friends and business partners, most of whom I would never have met without the MSAE connection. These individuals, together with the education I've received at MSAE events, have been invaluable in the advancement of my association career. I highly recommend diving in; you never know where the experience might take you!
DM: I began my work with the Michigan Manufacturers Association as a lobbyist after working in the Legislature, the corporate world, and as a
multi-client lobbyist. Over time, I gained responsibility for membership, expanded my portfolio into communications and marketing, and now, lead all non-dues revenue programs and finance functions.
DM: I found great fulfillment in supporting grieving children as a group facilitator at Ele's Place. I have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity
of Clinton County - both on housing projects and on the board of directors.
DM: I am grateful to MSAE for helping me to become the association professional that I am now!
