Public Policy Roundtable

The 2026 Public Policy Roundtable offers association leaders an inside look at the forces shaping Michigan’s policy environment—and what they mean for association strategy and advocacy.

Held annually, the MSAE's Public Policy Roundtable is recognized as one of Lansing’s major bipartisan events of the year. During this year's Roundtable, we'll take a look at how things are going 75 days into the year, explore strategies for working within the current political environment, and hear commentary from Michigan's Legislative Leaders.

Through expert-led sessions, candid conversations with legislative and executive insiders, and facilitated peer roundtables, participants will explore how policy decisions are made, how leadership transitions and political dynamics influence outcomes, and how associations can mobilize members, manage risk, and engage responsibly in an evolving landscape. This highly interactive forum is designed to strengthen leaders’ ability to anticipate change, make informed decisions, and advance their missions through effective public policy engagement.
