Ashley Wakefield

Ashley Wakefield is the Director of Membership, Marketing and Events for the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA), where she leads membership growth and retention, event strategy and communication efforts to strengthen Michigan’s manufacturing network. A native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Ashley graduated from Michigan State University and began her career in the Michigan House of Representatives before military family life took her to San Diego and Honolulu, where she gained experience in marketing and health care management. She later returned to Michigan to serve as the American Cancer Society’s statewide Grassroots Manager before ultimately joining MMA. Whether navigating deployments, shaping policies, orchestrating events, or building community, Ashley brings a strategic vision and a commitment to impactful outcomes. She now resides in Okemos with her husband and three children and enjoys renovating homes, euchre club and golf in her free time.
