Kim also believes in knowing the community she lives and works. As a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) for the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau, this gives her even more knowledge to help with her client’s events. She developed her event planning skills with many non-profit organizations. Her expertise is with both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations (both professional and trade associations) in a variety of industries. Planning her older daughter’s wedding made her realize that wedding/event planning was the next focus for her career.
In addition to running her business, she is active with her church and a variety of volunteer activities. Being creative has always been a great way to unwind. Her most recent endeavor is making sun catchers and wind chimes with glass beads. “I find that I love the challenge of taking a Pinterest project and making it with my own twist.”
