Professional Bio
Michelle Blodgett is the Manager of Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom at Michigan Farm Bureau, where she has led statewide agricultural literacy initiatives since 2017. With 20 years of experience in public education, including classroom teaching and district-level curriculum leadership, she oversees FARM Science programming, educator outreach, and curriculum development across Michigan. Michelle holds degrees from Saginaw Valley State University and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her work has earned multiple recognitions, including the 2022 Michigan Informal Educator of the Year award from the Michigan Science Teachers Association and an Honorary State Degree from National FFA Organization. Under her leadership, Michigan received National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization Innovation Awards in 2023 and 2024 for the FARM Crate and FARM Science Van programs. Michelle regularly presents at state and national education conferences, including NAITCO and NSTA.
