Sean A. Duval is the President and CEO of Golden Limousine International, a Michigan-based premium transportation company he founded in 1992. What began as a small limousine operation has grown into a diversified transportation provider serving corporate, institutional, public sector, and private clients through charter, shuttle, executive, and program transportation services.
Sean began his career in restaurant management with McDonald’s, where he developed the operational discipline, customer service standards, and team leadership foundation that later shaped Golden Limousine. He also served with the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI Milan, where he held supervisory responsibilities.
Under Sean’s leadership, Golden Limousine has adapted through major economic and industry disruptions, including 9/11, the Great Recession, and the COVID-19 pandemic. The company has evolved from a traditional luxury transportation provider into a resilient institutional transportation partner known for safety, reliability, and service execution.
Sean’s leadership philosophy is grounded in integrity, accountability, disciplined operations, and service to others. He believes strong companies should create good jobs, honor commitments, serve clients well, and contribute meaningfully to the communities that support them.
Sean has served in numerous civic and community leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, and has been involved with Destination Ann Arbor, the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber, Michigan Works Southeast, Washtenaw Community College Foundation, The Shelter Association, and other regional organizations. In 2023, he received the Humanitarian Award from TSOP Michigan, and in 2024 he was awarded an honorary Community Service degree from Washtenaw Community College.
