Prior to assuming the position of CEO at the Michigan Works! Association, Ryan demonstrated his effectiveness during an eight-year tenure at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Holding the pivotal role of Regional Director of Growth & Development, he led a dedicated team with a primary focus on business retention and expansion.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oakland University (Class of 2011), Ryan champions the values of teamwork, dedication, and a positive attitude as essential components of success. His strategic approach involves building and nurturing key relationships, emphasizing a collaborative atmosphere as the fundamental framework for achieving organizational triumph.
