The Leadership Identification & Development Committee is pleased to present the following nominees for election to the MSAE Board of Directors for the 2025–2026 term. These nominees have been nominated to fill five of the six open seats.

The accomplished professionals below will bring diverse experience, strong leadership, and deep commitment to advancing Michigan’s association community:

Bret BowmanBrett Bowman — Director of Sales, Traverse City Tourism
Nominated as the CVB Representative
Brett serves as Director of Sales for Traverse City Tourism, where he leads sales strategies to attract conferences and meetings to the region. He brings deep expertise in hospitality, destination marketing, and partnership development, along with a strong record of helping associations create successful event experiences in Michigan.

Ryan HundtRyan Hundt — Chief Executive Officer, Michigan Works! Association
Nominated for an At-Large Seat
As CEO of the Michigan Works! Association, Ryan leads the state’s workforce development network and supports Michigan’s employers, educators, and jobseekers through collaboration and strategic partnerships. With considerable expertise in workforce development and association leadership, Ryan offers valuable insights into talent, innovation, and economic opportunity.

Delaney McKinleyDelaney McKinley, CAE — Executive Vice President of Operations, Michigan Manufacturers Association
Nominated for a Second Term, At-Large Seat
Delaney currently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for the Michigan Manufacturers Association, connecting Michigan’s manufacturing community with advocacy, education, and solutions for growth. A Certified Association Executive (CAE), Delaney has been an active and thoughtful voice on the MSAE Board and is nominated for a second term to continue her leadership in an at-large role.

Jada PaisleyJada Paisley, CMP — Executive Director, Michigan Golf Course Association
Nominated for an At-Large Seat
As Executive Director of the Michigan Golf Course Association (MGCA), Jada leads the state’s advocacy and education efforts on behalf of the golf industry. Under her leadership, MGCA launched an apprenticeship program that strengthens workforce pathways in hospitality and recreation. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Jada brings experience in association leadership, event management, and member engagement.

J TimmJacquelen Timm, CAE — Director of Association Management & Communications, Kelley Cawthorne
Nominated for a Second Term, At-Large Seat
Jacquelen serves as Director of Association Management & Communications at Kelley Cawthorne, where she provides strategic leadership to a portfolio of association clients. A Certified Association Executive (CAE), she combines communications expertise with a deep understanding of governance and operations. Jacquelen is nominated for a second term on the MSAE Board, transitioning to an at-large seat.
