Professional Bio

Teri Langley began working with Disability Network/Michigan in July, 2021. Prior to DNM, Teri spent most of her 20-plus year career working for both the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives where she served in key roles for each. Teri worked for Senators Bev Hammerstrom and Randy Richardville, both recognized state-wide as champions for their advocacy for improving mental health services and their work to educate their colleagues on the gaps and barriers that existed in services for people with disabilities.

Teri has built her professional reputation on her ability to collaborate and build consensus among politically diverse groups to advance policy initiatives benefitting the residents of the State of Michigan. In her current role, Teri advocates on behalf of the state’s 15 Centers for Independent Living.
