Winston is the Senior Director of Membership & Business Development at the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM), where he leads three revenue-generating departments spanning membership sales, sponsorships, advertising, and business development. Over a 9+ year career, he has built sales operations and partnership programs from the ground up — including an $800K+ sponsorship channel in its inaugural year and guiding SBAM's membership dues revenue past $1 million for the first time in the organization's 57-year history.
He holds 7 professional sales certifications from the National Association of Sales Professionals and Carew International — a perennial top 10 global sales instruction company — bringing a methodology-driven, professionally credentialed approach to membership sales that treats it as a profession rather than an afterthought. As a current CAE candidate, he understands the association landscape from both the sales floor and the strategic level.
In 2025, he was recognized by Central Michigan University as one of its "10 Within 10" honorees, celebrating alumni who have made significant professional and community contributions within a decade of graduation.
