MSAE and ASA Announce New Peer Learning Opportunity

MSAE and our professional society, the Association Societies Alliance (ASA), are thrilled to announce a unique, new learning opportunity for MSAE members.

Throughout three highly interactive discussions, participants will discuss, explore, and experiment with dozens of methods for gently nudging members through the three stages of engagement. In group facilitation led by nationally renowned member engagement expert Amanda Kaiser, participants will examine avenues of member engagement, including (but not limited to) messaging, online communities, onboarding, networking, learning, conferences, chapters, benefits, volunteerism, and value. Participants will attempt to 'stand in the shoes' of new members, long-time members, and mid-career members. Some discussions are likely to center on high-tech strategies, while others will reveal simple, low-budget, no-tech options.

Tapping into the knowledge of the broader national association community, participants will uncover effective evergreen strategies and investigate how the changes in today's world of work impact engagement right now. Whether you work for a large association or a very small association, trade, or professional association, by the time this series wraps up, you will have heaps of fresh ideas for engaging your members, especially your hardest-to-engage members.

While the conversations will be wide-ranging, the goal is simple - to figure out how to engage and re-engage members in today's tricky environment. This learning opportunity will span three 90-minute sessions, each with a discussion focused on a significant stage of engagement. The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Discussion 1: Attention | September 29, 2022 (1:30 pm – 3:00 pm EST)
  • Discussion 2: Participation | October 13, 2022 (1:30 pm – 3:00 pm EST)
  • Discussion 3: Leadership | October 27, 2022 (1:30 pm – 3:00 pm EST)

The investment for all three sessions is just $279. Details and registration information are available here
